Patient-Focused Research

Research to discover new ways to diagnose and treat heart and vascular conditions is a major focus at Baylor. Our focus in our research, as in our treatment and rehabilitation work, is on our patients.

Our goal is to develop new treatments and technologies that will have a tangible impact on our patients' care and well-being. With 80 ongoing studies, we've invested significant time and resources in cardiovascular research to improve and extend lives. All studies are reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Baylor Research Institute.
