A Message From Our President
Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital is the first North Texas hospital dedicated solely to the care and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions. As part of Baylor Health Care System, Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital strives to provide quality in the delivery of patient care.
The 64-bed, patient-centered facility provides both inpatient and outpatient services, focused on preventive care and comprehensive cardiovascular disease management. Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital's clinical teams perform an array of short-stay, minimally invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, heart valve surgery, implantation of defibrillators and pacemakers, and electrophysiology studies. Our nationally certified cardiac rehabilitation program guides our patients on the road to recovery.
In 2006, the hospital exceeded national averages on a number of quality indicators for treatment of heart disease as set forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. As a result of much effort and dedication, the facility also achieved between 95 and 100 percent on an internal performance report of patient safety goals.
At Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital, our circle of patient care is completed through community educational outreach and dedication to relevant clinical research that continues to revolutionize the treatment of heart and vascular disease.
We would like to share our successes with you and invite you to join us in our commitment to safe, quality, compassionate patient care.
