Located at the Center of it All

Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital is located in downtown Dallas on the Baylor University Medical Center campus and is connected by the Skybridge on the 3rd floor to A. Webb Roberts Hospital. Our location offers convenient access to Dallas' central business district as well as the Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center, a 320,000-square-foot complex dedicated to physical health, fitness, rehabilitation and sports science research.

Whether you are here to visit a loved one, see a physician or attend a special function, the staff at Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital is dedicated to providing quality service to you or your loved ones. Opened in April 2002, the 64-bed, short-stay hospital is recognized as one of a few heart hospitals in the country and the first in North Texas. Since we're located on the Dallas campus of the Baylor University Medical Center, we can bring all the resources of the Baylor system to bear, should the need arise. The strength of the Baylor Health Care System combined with the expertise of the Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital results in a combination few can match.

There are modem connections for laptop computers in the waiting rooms on the second and third floors of Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital.

Please note: Cell phones and other wireless devices can interfere with medical equipment. Do not use these devices near patients or medical equipment. Because of medical equipment shielding, outside pagers may not work in all areas of the hospital.

Food

The Atrium Market is located in the Roberts Hospital first floor lobby.

The Cafeteria is located on the basement level of Truett Hospital and is open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Frullati Café & Bakery is located on the first floor of Barnett Tower.

The Baylor Dallas Bake Shoppe is located on the basement level of Truett Hospital and is open 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., weekdays.

Vending machines are available next to the waiting room on the second and third floors of Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital.

There are two gift shops on the campus of Baylor University Medical Center:

Roberts Hospital lobby shop is open the following hours:

An ATM (automated teller machine) is located in the waiting areas of the ground floor of Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital.

Areas of Interest on the Campus of Baylor University Medical Center

The Pilgrim Prayer Room is located in the lobby of Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital.

The Community Resource Center is located in the lobby of Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital and is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

An educational wall display about Baylor Heart and Vascular Services is located in the lobby of Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital. Learn about medical advances in heart and vascular care.

The Adrian E. Flatt, M.D. Hand Collection is located in the Truett Hospital lobby. The exhibit of cast, bronze-coated hands is the private collection of Adrian E. Flatt, M.D. The exhibit includes hand casts of athletes, celebrities and presidents. Open 24 hours a day.
