Aggie's Story

Aggie Landry was caring for her mother when she suffered a heart attack. She was 38 years old. Today, Aggie fights against heart disease by leading a women's education group at Baylor.

Electrophysiology & Pacemaker Labs

Our hospital specializes in electrical conduction in the heart and is recognized as a leader in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias. Physicians on the medical staff at Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital have pioneered many of the developments in electrophysiology and are involved in numerous ongoing research projects.

Recipient of a Magnet Award for “Excellence in Nursing Services”

Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital received the Magnet Award for “Excellence in Nursing Services” from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Baylor joins a small group of fewer than 5 percent of U.S. hospitals in achieving this coveted distinction. Each of the 255 hospitals, out of more than 6,000 nationwide, awarded Magnet distinction underwent a rigorous, voluntary evaluation process and extensive onsite inspection.
